We’re transitioning our debit card and merchant processing services to Shazam, an Iowa-based provider. With this change, we’re also launching  Brella® Card Manager, a powerful new mobile app designed to give you greater control over your ASB debit card.

Brella® is a free app that puts card security and account management right at your fingertips. You’ll enjoy features like:

And because Shazam is based in Iowa, ASB cardholders will gain access to a broader surcharge-free ATM network across the region!

What’s Changing?

We’re moving away from our current provider, Fiserv, and upgrading to Shazam for both debit card and merchant processing. This switch brings enhanced security, smarter tools, and more control, thanks to Brella®, Shazam’s robust card management app.

Here’s what you can expect when you start using Brella®:

1. Real-Time Fraud Alerts & Spending Notifications

• Get text or email alerts whenever your card is used
• Customize alerts for:
  • Online or international purchases
  • Transactions over a certain dollar amount
  • Suspicious or out-of-state charges
• Respond quickly to unauthorized transactions

2. Instant Card On/Off Switch

• Lost your card? Leave it at a restaurant? No problem.

• Set controls to block:
  • Online/eCommerce purchases
  • International transactions
  • Certain spending categories (great for teens or shared cards)
• Reduce your exposure to fraud by limiting how and where your card is used

4. ATM Locator & Travel Notifications

• Use Brella®’s built-in ATM locator to find surcharge-free ATMs near you
• Heading out of town? Use the travel notice feature to prevent your card from being flagged for suspicious activity when you’re on vacation or traveling for work

How to Get Started With Brella®

Getting set up is quick and easy:

1. Download the app:
   Search “Brella® Card Manager” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Register your debit card:
   Add your ASB debit card to your app once you download it and get registered.
3. Customize your preferences:
   Set your alerts, enable transaction blocks, and explore Quick Balance and ATM locator tools.
4. Use it anytime, anywhere:
   You can even log in from your desktop at www.shazamBrella®.net if you prefer not to use the app.

Is Brella® free to use?	Yes, it’s completely free for ASB debit cardholders.
Will I need a new debit card?	No. You will not have to replace your current card until it expires.
Do I need to re-enroll for alerts and blocks?	Yes. Customize your settings within the Brella® app once enrolled.
Can I use Brella® for my business account?	Yes! Shazam now allows business debit cards to be uploaded into Brella®.
Is the app secure?	Yes. Brella® uses encryption and does not store sensitive data on your device.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Brella®

• Set up alerts before something happens. Don’t wait until fraud occurs – be proactive!
• Use the card off/on switch as a habit when you’re not using your card (especially when traveling).
