Alaskan
Inside Passage Cruise & Pacific Northwest Tour
August
10-20, 2003
|
|
Explore the beauty of Alaska's Inside Passage and
the excitement of the Pacific Northwest. August is the perfect
time to see Alaska. The salmon are running and the eagles are
flying. The air is crisp and the waters so pristine that the
beauty takes your breath away. You'll stand in awe at the
glaciers, thousands of years old, as they shed calves of ice in the
thundering displays, and the icebergs become part of the
scenery. You'll marvel at the breeching whales as they perform
their jumps as if on cue. You'll be intrigued on land, as the
stories of the gold rush, dog sled races and totem poles fill your
days. There is something in Alaska to satisfy everyone, from
the nature lover, the sports enthusiast, the history buff, to those
who just want to see what it is all about. Yes, Alaska,
rightly so is the last frontier - the GREAT LAND. There is no
place else like it in the world.
To complete the wonder of your vacation, we have
added three nights in the heart of British Columbia to show you the
highlights of the Pacific Northwest. You'll ride a ferry to
Victoria, walk a 430 foot suspension bridge high above the Capilano
River in Vancouver and see the making of Boeing Aircraft in
Seattle. You'll dine in magnificent gardens in Victoria and
the top of the Space Needle in Seattle and you'll marvel at the
picturesque vistas that abound in these Northern
territories.
